Less than half of UK charities pursue ethical investments

Only 47% of UK charities take into account socially responsible, ethical and environmental investment factors, according to a survey by The Charity Fund Partnership, the research and consultant firm for the charities sector.

The disinterest in ethical issues is particularly surprising as the majority of the charities surveyed believe that a number of the so-called "Myners Principles" are relevant to them as well as the pensions industry.
