Lehman pulls off first M&A deal for SG

Lehman Brothers has completed its first announced advisory deal for Société Générale in the US market.

The investment bank acted alongside the French group's own corporate finance department on the acquisition of TCW, the US fund manager, for which SG is estimated to be paying €1.36bn ($1.2bn) over five years.
