Lehman Brothers has hired Grégoire Amigues, a director at Lazard Frères in Paris, as the latest addition to its fast-expanding French investment banking team.

The appointment of Amigues as an executive director is part of a concerted hiring spree by Lehman in Paris. A year ago it snapped up a team of six investment bankers from Schroder Salomon Smith Barney, in a rare team move for the French market.
