As Labour nears the 100-day mark in power, leading City figures are quietly confident that the party won’t slip back into anti-finance policymaking.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves told a City conference on 8 October that “the financial sector is one of our greatest success stories, and we will be determined to ensure that continues”.
