Legal & General has acquired a stake in Boston-based real estate private equity firm Taurus Investment Holdings, as the London-listed group seeks to bolster its private markets capabilities.
L&G, which earlier this year outlined ambitions to grow its private markets platform to £85bn by 2028, has also committed $200m of seed capital to invest in multi-family real estate — buildings which have been divided to accommodate several households.
