L&G replaces MLIM on UK local authority mandate

Essex County Council pension fund has boosted Legal & General Investment Management's passive mandate by £280m (€440m) at the expense of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which has been dropped.

Baring Asset Management has also been dropped entirely from the fund, after being used as a multi-asset manager as recently as last year.
