Crypto exchange Kraken has been approved to run electronic money services by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority.

The licence allows Kraken to issue electronic money and facilitate deposits and withdrawals for its clients. The crypto exchange is planning to expand its fiat payment-related products and services as a result.
