Kim Kardashian has been hit with a $1.26m fine from US regulators for touting cryptocurrency on Instagram without disclosing she was paid to do so.

The reality TV star, who has more than 250 million followers on Instagram, has agreed not to promote crypto for three years, and settled the fine with the Securities and Exchange Commission after failing to state that she was paid $250,000 to post about EthereumMax’s crypto tokens in 2021.
