Key appoints David Watts to board

David Watts, the former joint chief executive officer of Gartmore, the UK fund manager, has become a non-executive director at Key Asset Management, the $1.1bn (€840m) fund of hedge funds firm.

Watts, who retired from Gartmore in 1999, was one of the principal architects of the firm's move into hedge funds five years ago. The firm now has $5bn in single manager hedge fund assets.
