Kent County Council, the only local government pension plan invested in Neil Woodford's flagship fund when it suspended four years ago, is “reasonably confident” it will receive compensation from a scheme set up for trapped investors.

Link Fund Solutions, the administrator responsible for oversight of the Woodford Equity Income fund, announced on 7 September that investors are in line to receive between £180m and £200m in redress during the first quarter of next year.
