JPMorgan knew about $1bn in Epstein transactions, US Virgin Islands says

The USVI is seeking $190m from JPMorgan, which in turn says the territory is avoiding its own failure to take action over Epstein’s activities

JPMorgan found $1bn in suspicious activity on the account of Jeffrey Epstein, the late convicted sex offender, who was a private bank client of the bank.

The suspicious transactions were flagged to the US Department of Treasury by JPMorgan, according to a lawyer acting for the US Virgin Islands.
