JPMorgan Asset Management has bolstered headcount across its European ETF business by more than 20% over the past year, as the US group anticipates growing demand for actively-managed products in the region.

“We’ve definitely pivoted significant resources and added to the team substantially here,” said Patrick Thomson, chief executive of the asset manager’s Emea business.
