Former JPMorgan executive Jes Staley has said in court documents that he discussed the accounts of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein with the bank’s CEO — but Jamie Dimon insists that didn’t happen.

In court documents, made available exclusively to The Wall Street Journal, Staley’s comments have emerged for the first time in public. The statements are at the centre of lawsuits between the bank and the US Virgin Islands, and an unnamed woman who said Epstein abused her, and claimed JPMorgan aided his alleged sex trafficking.
