Irish funds industry records strong growth

Asset under management at funds based in Dublin were up by over a third in the 12 months to June this year, according to Fitzrovia International, the fund research company.

The funds now have nearly $290bn (€294.6bn) under management, compared to €213.6bn over the 12 months to 2001. This is also a six-fold increase on five years ago.
