Investment groups tell Euronext to call time on current trading hours

The lobby group had already made its position clear when responding to an earlier consultation by the LSE

Two influential trade groups have told Euronext in plain terms that the trading day must be trimmed by 90 minutes.

The Association for Financial Markets in Europe and the Investment Association, which together represent hundreds of major asset managers and investment groups in Europe, want to see trading hours shortened to either 10:00-17:00 or 10:30-17:30 (CET).
