Investment Association taps fund managers for diversity data

Trade body says a better understanding of diversity across the fund management sector will help members hold listed companies to account

The UK asset management industry has one of the worst track records on women and ethnic minorities in senior roles.

Now, the Investment Association, the trade body for the UK’s fund management sector, will begin tracking progress across the industry as it begins to gather gender and ethnicity data from member firms.
