This year, Financial News is launching a new list of talented young professionals working in finance.

Instead of the sector-specific roundups of the past covering lawyers, bankers and fund managers, we are soon going live with the definitive list of Rising Stars of European Finance.

It will be published on 29 April.

This list crosses all the sectors FN covers, showcasing up-and-comers across financial technology, crypto and sustainable finance where we have not had rising stars lists before.

The new approach means we can also dig out talent in more niche parts of the market where a full list might not be warranted, as long as the individuals meet our criteria.

The Rising Stars of European Finance includes people under the age of 40 working in financial, legal and professional services in the region. All candidates are judged on their achievements given their age, including promotions and extra responsibilities they have been given within their company; their work over the past 12 months in particular, such as leading deals or sourcing new clients; the stature of their mentors; and their ability to reach the top.

If you want to know who has made this year’s list, visit fnlondon.com/lists on 29 April, or sign up to our lists and awards newsletter here.
