Industri Kapital, the Nordic private equity firm, has closed its latest fund €1.675bn ($2.18bn) short of its target at €825m.

The final closure of the Industri Kapital 2004 Fund, as it is now named, marks the end of a troubled three-year fundraising period for the buy-out house.
