IMA's chairman brands European Union a 'flawed experiment'

Helena Morrissey lambasts region's political structure and urges UK to focus on rest of the world

The chairman of the Investment Management Association, Helena Morrissey, has described the European Union as a “flawed experiment” and urged the UK to instead focus on forging relationships with the rest of the world.

Speaking at a conference in the City on Tuesday hosted by economic think tank The Milken Institute, Morrissey warned that the region "faces a hole in the road" and that is no longer a "powerhouse".
