HSBC names Bingham interim CFO after elevating Elhedery to top job

The bank has kicked off a search for a permanent successor to Elhedery

HSBC has promoted Jonathan Bingham to its interim chief financial officer following the elevation of Georges Elhedery to CEO.

Bingham, who is currently HSBC’s global financial controller, will take the role on 2 September, the UK lender said in a 31 July statement.
