HSBC loses chief executive Paul Guidone

HSBC Asset Management has lost its chief executive Paul Guidone who has resigned to return to the US to join J & W Seligman, a privately owned money management business in New York.

Guidone will be replaced by Alain Dromer, head of the asset management and insurance businesses of HSBC's Crédit Commercial de France, from the beginning of next month.
