HSBC Asset Management has expanded its institutional business development division in London with two new hires to the liquidity marketing team.

Cynthia Sweeney Barnes has been recruited to head a four-strong team. She joins the firm from JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management, where she was responsible for institutional business for western and southern Europe and Africa.
