Mid-market investment bank Houlihan Lokey has hired a senior Deutsche Numis banker as a managing director within its private capital markets team.

Ashish Patel has joined as a managing director in its capital markets team, according to a statement from the bank. He was latterly head of growth capital solutions at Deutsche Numis, where he spent nearly three years. He was previously an investor at Optum Ventures.
