Dallas-based alternative asset manager Highland Capital Management has hired a former senior managing director with Bear Stearns in an institutional sales role as companies make opportunistic hires following JP MorganâÂÂs acquisition of Bear last month.
Maureen Mitchell is working as the global head of institutional sales for Highland, which has $38bn (â¬24.1bn) in assets under management. Her duties will include boosting distribution capability for its alternative fixed-income strategies
