US investment banks largely increased bonuses for their London analysts this year, with payouts that once more underscored their growing dominance of European rivals in the City.

According to the latest pay survey from Dartmouth Partners, the recruitment firm, average bonuses rose for junior bankers in all business lines this summer. “Sentiment seems positive,” said Logan Naidu, chief executive of Dartmouth.
