Helena Morrissey’s lobby group pushes for 30% female fund managers by 2030

Asset managers have been making 'painfully slow progress' in their efforts to entice more women into the industry – a sense of fatigue now surrounds the topic of gender diversity

The Diversity Project, a campaigning group run by Dame Helena Morrissey, is ratcheting up its efforts to promote gender balance within the asset management industry.

The group is aiming to halve the gender pay gap in the sector by 2030, while raising the proportion of female fund managers to 30% – up from roughly 10% at present.
