Sir Chris Hohn has awarded himself a $53m dividend this year, a steep drop on the $346m he was paid in 2023, after his hedge fund TCI Fund Management boosted its charitable donations this year to $427m.

Hohn is one of the wealthiest people in the UK, with an estimated wealth of £6.1bn, according to The Sunday Times Rich List.
