Head of £9bn equities team at Aberdeen Standard departs

Stephen Docherty will be replaced by deputy Dominic Byrne

The head of global equities at Aberdeen Standard Investments has stepped down from the £526bn asset manager after more than two decades for “personal reasons”.

Stephen Docherty, who joined Aberdeen Asset Management in 1994, will be replaced by deputy Dominic Byrne, according to a statement.
