Hague joins Citi in advisory role

Former foreign secretary follows in the footsteps of ex-Bank of England governor Mervyn King in taking an advisory role at the US bank

Former UK foreign secretary William Hague has taken on his latest advisory role, joining Citigroup as investment banks try to figure out their response to Brexit.

Hague follows in the footsteps of Mervyn King, the former governor of the Bank of England, who last year became an adviser to Citi.
