GSC Partners, the international alternative asset manager specialising in distressed debt and mezzanine investments, has hired Frederick Horton as a partner and managing director to drive expansion into structured credit investing.

Horton has left the Trust Company of the West, where he was managing director and ran its collateralised debt obligation funds business.
