Goldman escapes employment tribunal after firing employee during ‘catch up’

Case struck out as former employee says she was 'ambushed' and did not have a companion for meeting that led to her dismissal

A former Goldman Sachs staffer who took the bank to an employment tribunal after being dismissed in a “catch-up” meeting has had her claim struck out by the court.

Yoana Yoshovska, who was an executive director and senior counsel at Goldman according to her LinkedIn profile, had worked for the bank for six years when she was invited into a room with her line manager in September 2020.
