Goldman Sachs has streamlined the leadership of its European operations with the appointment of Yoel Zaoui as sole head of European investment banking. He previously shared the role with three others.

According to an internal memo, Zaoui, who had shared responsibility for European investment banking with Chris French, Addy Loudiadis and Matthew Westerman, "will have responsibility for the overall leadership and strategic direction of the division in Europe, including both our advisory and financing businesses."
