Goldman Sachs chief executive David Solomon has said sweeping changes to financial regulation under Donald Trump’s presidency could have a “profound effect” on the Wall Street bank’s business.

Speaking at the US lender’s London headquarters during a Q&A for its annual Analyst Impact Fund competition, Solomon said it was unclear what a second term for Trump will mean for markets, growth and geopolitics.
