Goldman opens Kuwait office in Middle East push

Goldman said the Middle East is a “strategic growth area for the firm”

Goldman Sachs has opened an a new office in Kuwait as the Wall Street bank has continued to bulk up in the Middle East.

The Wall Street bank has hired Mohammad Almatrouk as a managing director to lead the new office in Kuwait, it said in a statement announcing the new location. Fahad Alebrahim also works in wealth management in the country.
