Goldman Sachs’ one big trick to pick winning stocks

Europe now has higher female participation in the workforce while America's progress on gender-balance has flatlined since the turn of the century

Companies with more women in senior roles tend to have shares that outperform, Goldman Sachs analysts noted — and Europe beats out the US on such social progress.

That’s the finding of the bank’s first report on the topic, which it published on 13 October alongside a list of European shares that the bank says have good “Womenomics”.
