Global investment sector set to top $130tn by 2027

Some of the biggest asset growth over the next two years is expected to come from Asia Pacific and retail investors

The amount of money overseen by the global asset management sector is set to rise to more than $130tn over the next two years, but fund groups are being urged to pivot to Asia and target retail investors for the best chances of winning new business.

According to a report from Broadridge, global assets will rise to $132tn by 2027, up from around $114tn currently.
