GL Trade, provider of financial trading software, has partnered with Sonic Financial Technologies in the US to offer improved direct access to trading US equities.

By integrating SonicStorm, a proprietary direct access trading portal, into GL Net users will be able to route orders to New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and a much longer list of ECNs for execution. The partnership gives GL users access to smart order routing - where the stock is traded in more than one place, the order routing system automatically finds the best price.
