Swiss fund manager hires Henderson's global equities chief for newly-created role

Swiss fund manager GAM has hired the former head of global equities at Henderson Global Investors to a new role leading its own offerings in the asset class.

Matthew Beesley will become London-based head of equities at GAM from March 6, according to a statement. It is a newly-created position.
