Fridson leaves Merrill after 13 years

Marti Fridson, head of high-yield bond strategy at Merrill Lynch, has left after 13 years with the bank.

A spokeswoman for Merrill Lynch confirmed Fridson's departure but would not say whether he resigned or was made redundant. Christopher Garman, Fridson's number two in high-yield strategy, is still at the firm and is likely to take on some or all of Fridson's responsibilities.
