Free float could see $115bn influx for UK

The UK market could be one of the main beneficiaries if the Morgan Stanley Capital International Index joins the FTSE and Dow Jones in their moves to free-float weighting, according to the report Free Float - a surfacing issue by ING Barings.

The UK could see a potential influx of $115bn (&#8364133bn) as a result of the cross-border portfolio flows, which would ease the pressure on the pound and interest rates.
