Credit Suisse energy dealmaking head Bedina hired by Santander in latest exit

The Spanish bank is targeting 30 hires in the UK and 150 globally in a fresh investment banking push

A senior Credit Suisse dealmaker who only joined the Swiss bank last year has quit to join Santander in another exit to the Spanish lender.

Francesco Bedina is set to join Santander to lead its energy dealmaking team in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to people familiar with the appointment.
