France Télécom cuts debt with Dutch cable sale

France Télécom has cut its debt pile by a further €750m ($731m) with the sale of Dutch cable operator Casema.

The deal, which saw cable giant Liberty Media buy Casema for cash, meant France Télécom debt had been slashed by €3bn in a few months to €65.5bn, according to ABN Amro.
