Four bankers have resigned from the European equities business of UBS in the past 24 hours.

Alex Easton, head of European equities; James Renwick, chairman of corporate broking; Mike Hilton, a top-rated European media analyst; and Charles Lesser, a director and specialist oil services salesman, have all left.
