Former Swiss Re CEO dies from coronavirus complications

Lippe was also a director and chairman of Axa's audit committee at the time of his passing

Insurance industry heavyweight and former CEO of Swiss Re, Stefan Lippe, passed away from coronavirus complications on 24 April.

Lippe, aged 64, was also a director and chairman of Axa's audit committee at the time of his passing. He spent the majority of his career at the Swiss Re group, which he led from 2009 to 2012 during the tumultuous years of the financial crisis.
