Former HSBC investment bank boss joins Wells Fargo in London

Rob Ritchie will join the US bank in the City in May

The former head of UK investment banking at HSBC, who left the lender amid a management overhaul, has re-emerged at Wells Fargo.

Rob Ritchie, a one-time Goldman Sachs executive, has been appointed head of banking and capital markets, corporate and investment banking, for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at the US bank. He will start in May.
