The former head of HSBC’s investment bank has quit the UK lender for a senior role at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Greg Guyett, who was moved into a new role at HSBC as part of a broader shake-up, is joining the EBRD as first vice president and head of client services group, it said in a statement.
