Five candidates in battle to lead UK’s Brexit opportunities unit

Five people are competing to lead the UK government's new Brexit opportunities unit, Financial News has learned.

A total of 76 applied for the position by the 25 July deadline, according to a Freedom of Information request by FN. Five applicants, all from outside government, had made a shortlist by early September.
