FIS, the US provider of banking and payments technology, has appointed Peter Leukert to its senior leadership team to lead company strategy. He will also lead the Capco Institute, which provides a forum for debate between academics, regulators and practitioners, and publishes a journal on financial transformation. Prior to joining FIS, Leukert was the global chief information officer responsible for all information technology within NYSE Euronext's businesses.
