Fintech firm Quantexa secured £51.2m in fundraising – without meeting the lead investor in person

Quantexa uses cutting edge technology to help its customers fight fraud

Quantexa, a fintech firm that helps HSBC, Standard Chartered and others fight financial crime, has closed a £51.2m fundraising that was negotiated at the height of the Covid-19 crisis.

New York-based venture capital investor Evolution Equity Partners led the round and Richard Seewald, managing partner at the company, will join Quantexa’s board.
