Financial Reporting Council hires ex-banker

The Financial Reporting Council, the UK regulator that monitors corporate governance and reporting, has appointed Gay Huey Evans to the board. Huey Evans was appointed to the board of Aviva in October 2011, and currently serves as a non-executive director of The London Stock Exchange Group. She was formerly vice chairman of investment banking and investment management at Barclays Capital. Huey Evans also worked at Citi Alternative Investments and the Financial Services Authority.
